Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AI Picture Editor (aipictureeditor.io, “we”) handles your information when you use the website and its photo editing tools.

What we collect

• Photos and instructions. The images you upload, any mask you draw, the text you type, and the edited results.
• Account details. Your email address and a hashed password (we never store the password itself), plus your credit balance history and edit history.
• Payment records. What you bought and when. Card details are entered on Stripe’s pages and never reach our servers.
• Technical data. Your IP address, kept only as a salted one-way hash, to enforce free-use limits and stop abuse; and basic request logs kept by our hosting provider.
• Analytics. If enabled, Google Analytics records anonymous usage such as pages viewed and the device type.

How we use it

• To perform the edits you request and let you download the results.
• To run your account, keep your credit balance, and process purchases and refunds.
• To enforce daily free limits, prevent fraud and keep the service secure.
• To answer your messages and send account emails such as verification and password reset.
• To understand which features are used so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal data or your photos, and we do not use your photos for advertising.

Who processes your data

We rely on these providers, each of which only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Vercel (website hosting)
• Neon (database)
• Cloudflare R2 (image storage and delivery)
• kie.ai and the AI model providers it routes to (performing the edit; your photo and instructions are sent to the model)
• Stripe (payments and subscriptions)
• Resend (account emails)
• Google Analytics (usage statistics, if enabled)

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

• Free use: uploaded photos and results are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
• Paid accounts: edits made after your first purchase are kept until you delete them on your account page, ask us to delete them, or close your account. Deleting an edit removes its result and the uploaded photo.
• Account and payment records: kept while your account exists, and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Images are stored under random file names and served from our image domain. Anyone who has the exact link to an image can open it, so only share result links you are happy to share.

Cookies

• A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in.
• A signed visitor cookie that counts free edits when you are not signed in.
• Google Analytics cookies, if analytics is enabled.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account, history and images by emailing support@aipictureeditor.io from the address on your account. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don’t use elsewhere.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date above, and for significant changes we’ll tell signed-in users by email. Questions? Contact us.
